Okay, so I’ve had a blog for all of a week and a half and I already missed a day.
So today’s a double…yes, late, but twice none the less.
Today I made pasta “Aio e Oio” or Roman style with tomato and Basil.
I have to say this is one of my favorite Italian dishes ever – simple and amazing.
Props to the master – Marcella Hazan…this was straight out of the Essentials of Classic Italian Cooking. If you only own one cookbook…well, you have to have The Joy of Cooking. If you own two, Essentials is the other.
